Man hit by car doing Drake #InMyFeelings challenge goes on Kimmel ‘I’m the most famous guy in Florida’

Thousands of Drake fans around the world have been going viral for jumping out of moving cars and dancing in the road to his hit song “In My Feelings”

In what has been dubbed the #InMyFeelingsChallenge, the new craze has been hard to ignore over the past few weeks. Also referred to as the “Keke” or “Kiki” challenge, the viral stunt has people putting their lives at risk while turning up on the streets to the lyrics: “Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding? Say you’ll never ever leave from beside me.”

Well, Keke got folks out here getting hurt now, Yahoo reports.

Drake fan, Jaylen Norwood, 22, was mowed down by a car when he attempted to achieve his moment of Internet fame. Luckily, he suffered only minor scrapes. Jimmy Kimmel even invited him onto his live show to talk about it.

“I’m the most famous guy in Florida,” Norwood boasted to an amused Kimmel on Monday night.

The Boynton Beach resident explained how he attempted to do the challenge with a twist. Instead of jumping out of a moving car, he planned to jump onto the hood of a car driven by his best friend. But during the stunt, he slipped on some oil in the street and fell.

His friend’s car “was supposed to come slow…  He comes fast,” Norwood told Kimmel. That’s when Norwood thought: “Oh my God, this is it. This is it.”

“You risked your life for a meme!” Kimmel told Norwood.

“It was worth it,” Norwood replied.

Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board has issued a stern warning about the #InMyFeelings challenge: “We have some thoughts about the #InMyFeelings challenge. #Distraction in any mode is dangerous & can be deadly. Whether you are a #driver, #pilot, or #operator, focus on safely operating your vehicle.”
