The Dallas Police Chief issued a statement this morning announcing the firing of Amber Guyger, the officer who shot and killed Botham Jean in his apartment.

Dallas Police officer Amber Guyger was charged with manslaughter for shooting and killing Jean in his apartment three weeks ago, after claiming that she thought the apartment was hers.
