Biographer says he has proof that Michael Jackson is innocent
Journalist Mike Smallcombe says he’s discovered key evidence in ongoing child sex abuse claims against the late Michael Jackson. Smallcombe believes that with this information he can disprove some of the allegations made by former N’Sync dancer, Wade Robson.
Smallcombe, a biographer most popularly known as the author of Making Michael, says that he has a 1993 testimony from Robson’s mother, Joy Robson, that disproves Wade’s allegations in the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland.

During an interview with Mirror Online, Smallcombe reveals that Robson’s testimony was widely hinged on the fact that the 36-year-old dancer claimed Jackson’s abuse started when his family went on a trip to the Grand Canyon. During the trip, a then seven-year-old Wade was left behind with the much older singer. However, Smallcombe points out that a testimony by Robson’s mother contradicts this.
“His mother, Joy Robson, testified under oath in a deposition in 1993/1994 in relation to the Jordy (Jordan) Chandler case that Wade had actually gone with them on that trip to the Grand Canyon, before the entire family returned to Neverland for the second time the following weekend.”

The journalist also pointed out that Robson’s mother had no reason to lie about this, since she has admitted before that her son had been left alone with the late singer on a number of occasions.
Smallcombe continued, “Her words in that deposition were, ‘We went to the ranch for the first weekend, and then we left and went to the Grand Canyon, and we toured. We came back to the ranch for the following weekend’. She was asked to elaborate on who had gone to the Grand Canyon, and she said ‘my family’. There was no mention of Wade staying behind.”

“All of this shows that Wade’s story about being abused that first time, while the rest of his family had supposedly left the ranch to go to the Grand Canyon, is false,” Smallcombe said.
The journalist, however, does not completely rule out Robson’s entire testimony.
“Of course, while this doesn’t categorically rule out that Jackson abused Wade Robson, it does make you wonder if this extremely detailed and key story in the documentary has been fabricated.”
