Texas man allegedly kills wife, 2 sons for ‘being too loud’
James Manning, 57, called the police on himself and admitted to the heinous killings
James Manning called the police on himself and admitted to killing his wife, Victoria Bunton, and their two sons, on Monday morning.
According to reports, the Dallas couple lived in the Rosemont at Ash Creek Apartments in Dallas, Texas. At around 11 a.m. on Monday, Manning contacted an alarm company with his medical alert device. The company connected him to public safety and he confessed to shooting his wife and two sons.
The family began their day arguing because Manning, 57, had a headache and his 35-year-old wife, along with their 13-year-old son Zyquon, and 16-year-old son Isaach “were being too loud.”

The police arrived on the scene and took him into custody. Police identified Manning as James Webb initially, which was corrected to James Manning. He allegedly shot his wife two times, along with shooting their two sons, killing them in the family’s apartment.
Once arrested, Manning agreed to be interviewed without an attorney present, People reported.
According to authorities, he confirmed details unique to the scene of the crime and told police where to find the gun he used. Manning said he was “tired of all three of the victims yelling and telling him there was nothing wrong with him, so he shot them.”
Manning has reportedly been charged with capital murder and is being held on a $3 million bond in Dallas County jail.

“This is a horrific incident. Our hearts go out to everyone that’s touched by this,” Reuben Ramirez, Dallas County Deputy Chief told Channel 4 KDFW.
Bunton’s family believes the mother of two was trying to protect her sons from their “distant but seemingly-unthreatening father, KDFW reported.
“There’s no reason why anybody would want to harm her because she was a good person,” Bunton’s sister, Barbara McGee, told the news station.
A neighbor also shared she saw the family barbecue together and remembered Zyquon and Isaach as respectful boys who sometimes spent time playing football in the neighborhood.
“I’ve been knowing them for two years, going with their mama to the grocery store, helping with groceries, getting on the school bus,” Justice Johnson said.
None of the neighbors who spoke with the station anticipated this tragedy.
“You would never think that he would do that…” Chanel Lockhart, a family neighbor, told KDFW. “You’d never think that one day he would call and say he killed his kids.”
