WWE adds Parkwood CEO Steve Pamon to board of directors

Steve Pamon, CEO of Parkwood Entertainment, is announced as a new member of WWE’s board of directors.

WWE has elected Steve Pamon, President and Chief Operating Officer of Parkwood Entertainment, to its board of directors.

Announced on September 1 in an official statement, the organization is excited to have his expertise with the new position. WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon looks forward to having Pamon at the company.

“Steve brings an extraordinary track record from the media and entertainment industry and is an accomplished senior executive,” said McMahon in the press release.

“I am confident his experience and insights will add tremendous value to our company.”

Pamon himself announced the career accomplishment on social media. He shared a screenshot of the media release and captioned “Blood, sweat and respect. The first two you give. The last you earn. Give it. Earn it, ” a quote from famed wrestler The Rock.

According to the release, while leading Parkwood Entertainment, founded by Beyoncé in 2010,  Pamon had his hands on several groundbreaking projects. Some of those projects included artist management, music production, concert tours, motion pictures, television specials, and consumer products.

He worked on moments such as the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, the Lemonade visual album, the Formation World Tour, Netflix’s Homecoming, Black Is King and more. As an executive producer, Pamon has received both Emmy nominations and Grammy nominations. He has won a Grammy Award for Homecoming and a Peabody Award for Lemonade.

Prior to working at Parkwood, the release details Pamon’s work as Head of Sports and Entertainment Marketing for JPMorgan Chase, where he and his team were responsible for ongoing operations around the bank’s broad sponsorship portfolio with various leagues, events, and venues.

The Morehouse College graduate was also Vice President of Strategy and New Business Development for the National Football League, served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of HBO’s Digital Distribution. He has worked for Time Warner, Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, and McKinsey & Co. as well.
